Everyone needs and deserves to have a place to call home. That is the idea behind Belinda's Place, York Region's first homeless Women's Shelter Project.
The goal of the Community Team is to give homeless women a place to stay. What will the shelter provide?

Belinda's Place will offer:

  • Emergency shelter beds as well as long-term transitional housing
  • Supportive Counselling
  • Supportive Consulting
  • Accommodation and food
  • Life-skill learning opportunities
  • Help to find and maintain permanent housing
  • Referrals to other community supports and resources
